Our security aspect of cargo management, which commenced in 2009, and is now facilitating an average monthly capacity of 25 to 50,000 tons per month secured under our vast, widespread security department. Our security sector comprises of a large number of check points across our most frequented routes, as well as cross border offices in majority of Zambia's border posts. In line with our companies great history as an industry leader in Zambia, VS Cargo bolsters one of the most experienced operational procedures in the cargo security sector.

 

VS Cargo currently employees 400 employees across our vast reach in our countries of operation. VS Cargo also caters for the acquisition of abnormal documentation and all permits related to abnormal road traffic, as well as offering abnormal escort services. In addition, our security department handles security for all fuel in transit by rail from South Africa to various destinations in the DRC as well as Zambia.

• 16 checkpoint across Zambia, DRC, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, majority of which are equipped with a vehicle as well as a gunman, for any cliental requiring rapid response in emergency situations.
